About the College

The College of Technology and Allied Sciences consists of two departments- Information and Communications Technology and the Department of Industrial Technology. The college offers five programs namely: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Technology, Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology, and Bachelor of Science Industrial Technology major in Food Preparation Services Management.

Mission

BISU is committed to provide quality higher education in the arts and sciences, as well as in the professional and technological fields; undertake research and development and extension services for the sustainable development of Bohol and the country.
Goals

- To acquire the necessary foundations for the student’s development into a productive, thinking, self-sufficient, morally upright, and God-Fearing worker.
- To provide technical/technological knowledge and information which enable the individual to analyze job problems, determine appropriate solutions, and perform problem solving tasks.
- To develop tradesmen with broad technical skills in a particular field of technology.
- To develop the high-level technological professions that will provide training in leadership, foremanship, superintendency, and management skills in the industrial world.

Food Preparation Services Management
The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Technology is designed to prepare graduates for responsible technical positions in design, development, research, applications, and operation in the fields of residential, commercial and industrial wiring installations, alternating and direct current machine design, electromechanical control system of AC-DC machines, control designs of electro pneumatic , programmable logic control system and applied industrial electronics.
The Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology program aims to develop young individuals to be knowledgeable from basic principles to more advance electronics. It is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of the students towards the assembly, disassembly, maintenance and repair of electronics products and systems. It also covers the knowledge and expertise in promoting career growth by inculcating them with Digital Electronics, Personal Computer (PC) Hardware and Software, Cellular Communication and Industrial Electronics Devices and Circuits.
