Medical & Dental Unit

The University’s HEALTH SERVICE UNIT is staffed with a Physician or Medical Officer, a Dentist and a Registered Nurse. This unit provides medical and dental services to all duly registered student, faculty and employees of the University. It also supervises the general Health condition of the school community by means of disseminating information regarding Health and Hygiene, and prevention and control of diseases; assist in the supervision of the maintenance of sanitation within the campus and to conduct routinely check-up of students, faculty and employees.
The medical Officer, dentist and school nurses provide this service with responsibilities that include:
- consultations and referrals for medical ailments;
- physical examination for enrolment, OJT, sports and other school-related activities;
- basic curative services and first aid treatment;
- health education and counselling;
- environment sanitation measures and safety in the workplace;
- health emergency preparedness and response;
- promotion of healthy lifestyle and health seeking practices; and
- human resource capability building on health

Operations Manual BISU Balilihan Campus Clinic
This Manual of Operation of the School Clinic details the Health Service Unit of the University, its staff and personnel and the standard operating procedures for the delivery of optimum Health and Dental Services to all duly registered students, faculty and employees of the University.
Medical Clinic





The Medical Officer assisted by the Health Nurse conduct clinic hours on the following schedule at the designated school clinic:
Monday - Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Besides Covered Court
Services / Activities





Conducts health examination to qualified applicants to the college.
Conducts chairside instructions during consultation to increase knowledge of students, faculty and staff about common health problems.
Routine dental check up of students.
Students who are sick or who need medical assistance can avail themselves of the services of the medical/dental staff, free of charge.
