BS Electronics Technology (BS ELX)
Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology
Undergraduate Studies
About the Program
The Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology program aims to develop young individuals to be knowledgeable from basic principles to more advanced electronics. It is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of the students towards the assembly, disassembly, maintenance, and repair of electronics products and systems. It also covers the knowledge and expertise in promoting career growth by inculcating them with Digital Electronics, Personal Computer (PC) Hardware and Software, Cellular Communication, and Industrial Electronics Devices and Circuits. The curriculum is built around a strong basic core of mathematics, physics, research, and other allied sciences.
It is designed to have a one-year On-the-Job Training program so that the graduates are geared with enough knowledge and experience to be job-ready and globally competitive individuals.
Laboratory facilities are available in the electronics technology buildings allowing for basic as well as more advanced laboratory instruction in radio/television receivers and amplifier systems, digital electronics, computer software, and hardware, cellular communication system, digital audio, and video system, and industrial electronics circuits and devices.
