ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
The Balilihan Campus was formerly an extension of the Central Visayas College of Agriculture, Forestry and Technology – Tagbilaran City Campus which started accepting enrollees in the First Semester of Academic Year 2006 – 2007. It was established on June 12, 2006, through the effort of Cong. Edgar M. Chatto, SUC President Dr. Elpidio T. Magante, the Local Government Unit of Balilihan, Bohol and the CVSCAFT TCC Administration now BISU. The Bohol Island State University (BISU) is a state university in Bohol established in 2009 through the Republic Act 9722.
