A team of dedicated researchers has set their sights on the picturesque municipalities of Loboc, Bilar and Carmen in a ground breaking study that promises to shape the future of tourism. The project funded by “Futures Thinking”, an innovative research initiative, is now in its first phase in data gathering which is the profiling of the tour guides in Bohol with the aim of better understanding of the challenges that they face. The result of this study will become the baseline of trainings and extension programs to enhance the capabilities of the tour guides for better tourist experience.
