In a historic moment for both the campus and herself, Miss Ivy Jane S. Asilo, a dedicated faculty member of BISU Balilihan Campus, officially became an Associate Member of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) on October 25. The prestigious induction ceremony took place at the HRDC Gymnasium within the campus of Leyte Normal University in Tacloban City, during the 20th NRCP Visayas Regional Cluster (VRC) Convention.
What makes this induction even more remarkable is that, she is the first faculty member from BISU Balilihan Campus to attain NRCP membership. Her accomplishment does only reflect her personal dedication to academic excellence but also shines a spotlight on the potential growth and recognition of the campus within the field of research and innovation.
