Elections are for the people. It is their choice. If they turn their backs on the fire and burn their behinds, they’ll just have to sit on their blisters. Hence, voting is a civic sacrament. It expresses our commitment to ourselves, to one another, to this country, and to the world.
Today, registered voters will vote for officials to fill executive and legislative positions at the national, provincial, and local levels.
A friendly reminder: Vote for what you want, not what is popular or what others prefer. Your vote has the potential to change things, so choose wisely.
